Mission Statement

Nothing particularly dramatic: I only intend to review things I've read or seen, recommend the ones I enjoyed. Oh, and - in between the squee and the critique - to hold up a few odds and ends of my own writing to the harsh glare of an actual real audience. Then, if there's time, I might even go "what?!" about things.

For reference, the things I read lean heavily towards fantasy and sci-fi, although the things I end up writing have gradually drifted towards things based in real life as well as fictional locales. Whatever the genre, though, anything I write is doomed to be twisted sooner or later. I guess that's just the way my brain works.
